Professor of Computer Information Systems
Bruce Saulnier, CSP is Professor of Computer Information Systems. Widely recognized as an expert in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) applied to Computer Information Systems education, Bruce has published over 20 articles in academic journals and has over 50 conference presentations. His presentations include keynotes and featured presentations at the annual national Lilly Conference on College Teaching, the Information Systems Education (ISECON) annual conference, the International Society for Exploring Teaching and Learning (ISETL) annual conference, and the annual conference of the International Association for Computer Information Systems (IACIS). His awards and honors include recognition as an EDSIG Fellow by the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP), a Distinguished Fellow of ISETL, an HEW Fellow by the Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Athenaeum Society (Phi Beta Kappa) of Defiance College. He is a recipient of Quinnipiac University’s Excellence in Teaching award (2009), was named Connecticut Professor of the Year (2002) by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, and was honored as Quinnipiac University’s Professor of the Year (1993).
