Instructor of Management
Patricia Kelly is an Instructor of Management at Quinnipiac University. She has been teaching at Quinnipiac University since the Fall of 2011, during which time she has taught courses in the management department with her main area of focus on management and organizational behavior, human resource management courses including compensation and benefits, staffing & recruitment and project management.
Her areas of expertise and research include project management, group and team dynamics, women in leadership roles, resource allocation and leadership awareness. Specialized skills include portfolio management relative to process improvement, assessment of training needs, diagnosis and treatment including group facilitation, ability to coach and counsel to success. She is an active member of PMI, ATD and SHRM.
Prior to her teaching roles, she spent over a decade working in various positions at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She was able to successfully transition into leadership roles within the healthcare management division and the planning and change management division. She was part of a team that established the Anthem East PMO focused on portfolio management across the enterprise.
She is Project Management Certified through George Washington University. She earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership at Quinnipiac University in 2008 and is currently completing courses towards a Master of Science in Instructional Design degree from the Quinnipiac University, School of Education.
